Week 4 - Effective Communication and Story Telling featuring Resolving the Issue from the Previous Interview

Technopreneurship requires not only technical skills, but also communication and story telling skills to persuade, inspire, and influence others. Communication is not just about delivering information, but also about creating a connection and building trust with others. Story telling is not just about entertaining, but also about engaging emotions and sparking curiosity. To communicate and tell stories effectively, you need to consider your purpose, your audience, your message, and your delivery.

Effective Communication

Communication is the exchange of information and ideas between people. It can be verbal or non-verbal, written or spoken, formal or informal. Effective communication is essential for technopreneurs to convey their vision, value proposition, and competitive advantage to various stakeholders, such as customers, investors, partners, and employees.

Story Telling

Story telling is the art of creating and sharing narratives that evoke emotions and connect with people. It can be used to enhance communication by making it more compelling, memorable, and persuasive. It helps technopreneurs to connect with their audience on a deeper level, by showing them who they are, what they do, why they do it, and how they can help them.

Effective communication and story telling are essential elements of successful technopreneurship. In order to succeed in the business world, technopreneurs must be able to effectively communicate their ideas, products, and services to potential customers. They must also be able to tell a compelling story that will capture the attention of their target audience. By understanding the importance of effective communication and story telling in technopreneurship, technopreneurs can create effective strategies for their business success.

Resolving the Issue from the Previous Interview

Learning from our past mistake, this time we were able to successfully conducted a customer discovery process and prioritize the needs and pain points of our potential customers. We are able to understand more their experiences and problems when commuting. We gained new insights that there is a much broader problem than what we originally think of.

We conducted a total of 15 interviews for this week. They have different responses, however, there are three common problems that we have found. The following are:

    1. Availability and waiting time of public transportation
    2. Traffic congestion
    3.
Cultural shock and language barriers.

Conclusion

From the response we received during this week's interview, we have discovered that it was more engaging compared to the previous interview. This week's interview has sparked a lot of insightful ideas about our costumers concerns, enabling us to brainstorm better solutions for their challenges when commuting. The feedback and experience we obtained this week has been a valuable learning opportunity on our team's progress as we strive to provide solutions to their transportation issues.
